APPROACH
As a small-scale manufacturer based in Germany, we are committed to a sustainable approach to production. For us, this entails a combination of opting for natural materials whenever possible, employing a production-on-demand method, and creating speaker designs that are easily repairable. When you purchase New Fidelity, you're not just acquiring a black box—grab a screwdriver and take a look for yourself. We don't sell mystical concepts; instead, we construct high-quality speakers with cutting-edge technology. The magic lies not in a single transducer but in our expertise in designing a speaker as a cohesive system.
SURFACE FINISH
The speaker cabinets are crafted from certified birch plywood. In order to showcase its exquisite patterns and inherent wooden qualities, we have opted for a natural finish composed of wax, oil, and pigments. The outcome is a tactile, satin gloss with a soft touch.
TRANSDUCER MAGNETS
The music, in the form of an electrical sinus wave, undergoes transformation into cone movements through magnets located on the back of the driver unit. Nowadays, there are plenty lighter magnets in terms of weight than the ferrite magnets we choose. They sound the same, but these lighter options are toxic in terms of recycling.
CONE MATERIAL
The most prominent component of a loudspeaker is the cone, responsible for moving back and forth to generate the necessary air pressure, which we perceive as sound. Among the oldest and yet consistently best-sounding materials for this purpose is paper. Therefore, why opt for something toxic solely for the sake of innovative marketing?
